At Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic Convention in St Paul Minnesota, former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura, in a fiery oratory decrying the loss of liberty, 9/11 cover up, Patriot Act, and march toward totalitarianism we are experiencing in this country, stated that if in the next 4 years America shows him that they are ready to take back their country and stand up for the rights that they have lost in the past, he will consider running for President of The United States in 2012.

The crowd present at this event enthusiastically embraced his comments with a standing ovation and raucous cheers.

In an interview preceding this event, Jesse Ventura declared himself to be 'The Most Dangerous Man in America'.
