Six members of the anarchist group RNC Welcoming Committee will remain detained. A ruling by Ramsey County Judge Joanne Smith found probable cause to continue the detentions, as recommended by the Ramsey County Attorney.
The cases will not be reviewed for formal charging until Tuesday morning at the earliest. If they are not formally charged, they can be detained until Wednesday at noon.
The six anarchists were arrested Saturday morning and belongings were seized as part of an ongoing investigation regarding serious criminal acts with key members of the RNC Welcoming Committee.
Searches were executed at several locations in Minneapolis, and police found knives and axes, materials to make bombs, and large amounts of urine.
